We have a pretty decent idea around here of what does and does not work. Upon placing your order you’ll almost always receive our opinion (solicited or not, lol). We’ve been doing this quite awhile and have a pretty good grasp on which color combos are best, which are so-so and which should definitely be avoided at all costs. Of course, as you are the customer, your wish is our command. If you’d like to print a black koozie with dark brown ink, as long as we’ve at least advised you as to the possible subdued look of your print selection, if you choose to continue with this color combo, we are here to oblige .
In koozie pictured above, this was actually an error on our part. The customer changed their koozie color but production forgot to change the ink color as well! What resulted was a perfectly printed koozie, but one that was too dark to enjoy the beautiful printing! The black ink on the dark green (forest green koozie) is a bit too dark and the image blends a good bit with the background. The reason it doesn’t look terrible in the picture above is because the flash of the camera reflected on the koozie a bit and assisted in some additional ink “poppage”.
When placing your koozie order, keep in mind the overall effect you’re going for. Are you looking specifically to match a color combo? Do you want a nice, bright design that pops? Do you want something more subdued and understated? Answering these questions will help you to narrow down a color choice that will best represent the event you’ll be using your koozies for.
As always, we’re here to answer any koozie question you may have, anytime! We also love answering non-koozie related questions so feel free to call and email whenever! 518 964 1018, firstname.lastname@example.org
