Kooziez.com has been reveamped and redesigned to better the custom koozie experience.

So, we recently decided to redo our website.  Needless to say it was a lot more work than anyone ever expected.  We started by building a design with 99designs.com.  The design process is not as easy as designing custom koozies.  It is easily a 4-6 week process with design proofs, back and forth, voting, etc – it was NOT EASY.

Once you pick out your design, the hard part starts.  This is when you have to take your design and incorporate it into your current website.  This is not as easy as 1-2-3… this is more like rocket science meets astrophysics.  I would say printing koozies is about at 10x as easy as coding a website.  Coding is a process that takes a person who is highly trained a lot of time to get everything right.  Attention is in the details and needless to say – the details are expansive.

Finally, once you get the site designed, you have to get it incorporated and indexed with the search engines so that clients can find you again – this is not as easy as 1-2-3 – I wish it was that easy.

NBA Prediction – Mavs Win – Just Not In 6

So the NBA is over and I have to brag a little – yep, check the blog, the Mavs won the series just as I predicted.  Not to toot my own horn, but not many people were giving them a chance; but guess what Dirk was unstoppable!

Now the NBA is not out of the news – we got some serious issues that may come about with the Shaq Sex Tape.

I dont know if you all have heard but allegedly Shaq has a sex tape that was taken by someone names Ross.  OK, OK, Shaq making a sex tape is not a big deal, I agree – but what comes next is.  Allegedly Shaq sent some thugs to this guys house to get the tap back – Now, I dont know if they acutally did do this, once again it is just an allegation, and secondly, even if they did, there is another allegation that would need to be proven – that is they were sent by Shaq.

I am no lawyer (I print custom koozies) and I am definitly not a Prosecutor; but the Big Diesel could become the Big Con – just another prediction.
(Note, I hope this does not come true, I think Shaq can do a lot for society in his retirement, and frankly I highly doubt the allegations.)

NBA Playoff Predictions

So it is about to start!  The NBA Playoffs are practically here and we are printing cheap koozies like mad! Many of our clients are repeat customers from last years playoffs, nevertheless, we are printing tons of new Koozies for new clients today.  So keeping with the NBA theme, I am going to throw some predictions out there – feel free to laugh, gawk, or doubt any and or all of them – But trust me, one thing I know is NBA Basketball and even more so, the Playoffs!

1.  For starters, the Celtics will lose in the first round to the Knicks.  I know, I know, you think I am crazy that a team with little chemistry can beat the mighty celtics; nevertheless, the will.  For starters old legs + long series = loss.  It is that simle the Celtics will be run out of the building.

2.  The Heat, not the Bulls will prevail in the East.  The Bulls are great and I am glad to see them return to dominance, but with that said, they have no real playoff experience while Wade and James do.  It is only a matter of time.  They will win the series handily 4-2.

3.  The Lakers dont survive the first round and the team that comes out of the West… Nuggets.  I know it sounds crazy but the Nuggets are playing good ball, they are fast, and they have the home court advantage at the altitude.  Look for the Nuggets to prevail….

And the winner of the Nuggets verse the Heat – well, you will have to let me sleep on that one .

So Wedding Koozie Season is About to Start

Barak Obama and Koozies?

Barak Obama has now been president for over 2 years – hard to believe huh?  I am not one to give political report cards and say I am pro or against Obama – I let the readers decide that – but what I can say is that Barak Obama has yet to buy Koozies.  I know what you are thinking, why would Obama want to buy custom koozies, cheap koozies, personalized koozies, etc – well – the answer is simple – who doesnt want to buy koozies?

Nuclear Meltdown, Nuclear Explosion – Fear and Hype?

So like most of you all, I know a Tsunami took place in Japan last week and I know that a few nuclear plants were seriously damaged by the main quake (that caused the Tsunami) as well as the many aftershocks that continue to rock the country of Japan.  With that said, there have been a lot of reports of Nuclear Explosion, Nuclear Meltdown, etc – in  an armagedon meets the apocalypse style of talk.

Consecuently, I decided to take a break from producing cheap koozies and read about the likelihood of these events.  I was pleasently suprised to find what I read.  Basically a nuclear bomb is not exploding and blowing up the planet, uranium is not melting to the earth’s core (more like 60 feet), and the guess what, the end of the world is not coming.

I read multiple articles from multiple sources that basically stated that their is not enough uranium, nor the right kind of uraninum, nor the miniscule amount of space needed to allow for a nuclear explosion.  A meltdown, where the uranium basically burns itself up is what appears to be happening, and yes, this is an enviromental disaster but not like that of a nuclear bomb going off in say Nagasaki or Hiroshima. 

Thus, please pray and support our Japanese allies; but do not fret – the end of the world is not coming and we will not be rocked by a nuclear bomb.

March Madness, Graduation Koozies

So, yesterday I talked about graduation koozies, and other great events we have to look forward to this summer and I mistakenly forgot to mention one, March Madness.

March Madness is a great time of year – especially if you love passion, hype, basketball, and American Sport.  Right now, I am waiting for the brackets to be announced Sunday night to make my picks; but I can tell you now some predictions that I think will come true.

The Big East will flop.  Yea I know they are going to have like 12 teams in the tournament and they are allegedly the most stacked conference ever, but they will flop… I know it.

The UNC Tarheels will make the final four.  They are hot, young, and playing well – You might want to pencil them in, maybe even as a national champion.

BYU will fail – I would love to see BYU make the final four – but unfortunately, they will fail under pressure.

There will be a surprise team making the final four – say a five or six seed will take it to the final four.

Florida State will win the National Championship – yep you heard it hear first – The Seminoles will be the National Champions!

So, I walked in to the office today to a little suprise.  The Boss Man, actually, I should say Boss Women, had a little party set up.  We obvious are not going to be drinking beer at 8:00 am out of custom koozies (well, mot people want, I will if I am on vacation and my wife lets me ); but that does not mean we are not allowed to have a party every now and then at Kooziez.com’s Koozie Castle.

The Party included gift certificates to a happy hour tonight, Dunkin Donuts, Fresh Organic Coffee from Costa Rica, and decorations.  I still have not figured out who did the decorations; but they look great. 

Unfortunately, this is not the real mardi gras, we have to go back to work to properly service our customers so the party did not last long.  So my faithful readers and Koozie buyers, do not worry, your orders are in process and are being taken care of as I type.

Well, for all of you on Bourbon Street drinking your ice cold beer out of your cheap custom koozie, have fun for me, drink one down, and of course, BE SAFE!
